Roadsters Entry-Level through Intermediate

  • I wanted to follow up with a second article about Roadsters as there were some recent questions about them. This article is going to go into a little further detail about the Roadsters and the role they can play in your success in Mafia City. I will breakdown the different categories of Roadsters and suggest different ones for different tasks. Currently I have about 3 in rotation that I use for various tasks in the game. There are seven (7) different categories of Roadster from Entry-level to Rare and has you go higher up the list they will cost you more Roadster Points to purchase parts for the pieces.

There are two different types of Roadsters available in the game: Normal and Limited Edition. The first kind of Roadster requires you to use Roadster Points to purchase car parts that can be used to “assemble” your car so it can be activated. The parts can be bought and sold through the Roadster Hi-End Auto Parts Shop. Unlocking certain parts can allow you to use multiple cars.

The second type of car is a Limited Edition Car and these require you to use your Roadster Points to unlock the vehicle. You cannot return or sell the parts from these vehicles so if it costs 30 Silver and 80 Regular Points (Frostbite) that is what you will spend to unlock this car.

These are the seven (7) Roadsters in the Primary Roadster Group. I would suggest holding off on unlocking Frostbite to save the Points for cars you can trade parts on. For this reason I would recommend Tidal Wave for growth/development & gathering and Flash Rider for Attack/Defense.

          • RX-8 Engine (81 Silver, 92 Regular)
          • Copper Spark Plug (3 Gold, 27 Silver, 68 Regular)

I have almost unlocked the Copper Spark Plug which will unlock several more vehicles for me; however, currently I am still using Tidal Wave for gathering/development and Knight for attack. I do like using Blue Devil for events where I can get extra bonuses like Roadster Festive Days and Battle Carnival because while it doubles the energy it takes I get more than double the prizes.

Once I get the Copper Spark Plug I will be using Mad Max for Gathering and DeLorean for Attack/Defense. I could argue that Ignite is just as good as it has other bonuses like Bulker/Biker Defense; however, I like the Crime Ops Speed, Turn Losses into Wounded and the additional Crew Defense at home better.

    Conclusion

I hope this was helpful and really breaks down the different Roadster choices at each level. I would personally stay away from the Limited Edition Roadsters especially at first because you are stuck with them once you purchase them and you may stop using them rather quickly.
